Pirton Primary School has a special place in many Setter employees’ hearts, as lots of our staff went to that primary school over the years! So we were thrilled to have the opportunity to add to their play area provisions with an impressive new climbing frame.
The school’s brief was to create a climber that is interesting and unique, and has lots of access points so lots of their pupils can play together at the same time.
Their climber, Great Green, is named after a green in the village, and is a completely unique design that we had great fun designing and installing.
Four platforms intersect at a central point, with a variety of different traversing activities to create different routes with different levels of challenge.
The climber has lots of different coloured ropes and angled activities, creating quite an unusual space that invites children to start exploring.
The climber sits on rubber matting to provide a cost-effective safety- and anti-erosion measure.
We all love this design, and we hope Pirton Primary School does too!
